Life
I have left Oppenheimer to join the investment advisory firm of Southport Capital, Inc. in Atlanta. Southport is a mid-sized firm with offices in Chattanooga TN and Atlanta, with satellite locations in Charleston SC and Marietta, near my home. I will probably open another satellite in New Orleans, to be staffed part-time.
It is actually the best of both worlds: self-employment and affiliation with a larger group of professionals to provide continuity of service should I...well, you know.
Moreover, being self-employed I can relocate anywhere and continue my affiliation with Southport should a PhD program or a part-time lecturer's position take me to FL or elsewhere.

urse, I would continue serving clients in New Orleans and Atlanta, as some of the relationships are generational and go back more than 30 years.
I have an MBA and I have just completed a Master of Science in Management with dual concentrations in International Business and Human Resource Management. I am probably going to do a doctorate or law degree and as I said, I hope to teach part-time at the college level.
I enjoy writing, traveling, friends, self-discovery, and overall, the voyage of life.
