Darrell's Story

Life Well, I now have 6 children. We had our 6th child on 2/12/07 at 12:01 pm. So, I have 5 boys and 1 girl. We live in Chandler, Arizona after living in South Jordan, UT for about 10 years. We will be moving to Tucson, AZ in the next few months as I have just accepted a job to work for Raytheon Missile Systems down there. I just now do it where I don't need to shovel the walks. I am also the Assistant Scoutmaster down here and that keeps me really busy outside of regular work hours. I speak Japanese fluently. Anyway, life is good. My wife and I have been married for 15 years this August. Hard to believe how fast time flies when you get older. Hard to believe that we have been out of High School for 20 years now. That is crazy. My wife, Keri Jo, is from San Diego, CA. We met at UVSC after I returned home from a mission in Fukuoka, Japan. Dated for about 1 year, then she went to Israel for the study abroad program for 6 months. We were married 2 months after she got back from there. I still play basketball...Expand for more
(although I cannot dunk a basketball anymore, I can still dunk a volleyball on occassion). I still love to waterski, wakeboard, snow ski, hike, and camp. I would like to get out and fish and golf more, but I don't have time. I enjoy going to the kid's soccer and basketball games. It's fun watching them improve. They all love the water like their Dad, so that is fun too. I still own my old 1977 Chevy truck that I drove throughout High School with the "GRODE" license plate. I also still have the 1985 Honda Elite 150 Deluxe scooter with the popup headlights. And, now I have a convertible and a real motorcycle as well as the family vehicles. Yes, I do have a boat...it is much nicer than the one I grew up with. It is a Malibu Sunsetter LX (older model, of course). Yes, I still go by dgrossen1 if you want to say hello. Think of the sing-songy search engine web site... Thanks for visiting my page. I am sure that you are getting a good laugh at my pictures and seeing that I have 6 kids now. Yes, it is crazy.
