Darrell's Story
Life
After HS I lived in WF for a year and played semi-pro with a southern rock band called Stinger. We mainly played at various fairs, frat and private parties, small clubs, etc. Our "15-minutes of fame" came when we got to play with Molly Hatchet. gist since 1993. I finished up grad school this past Jan ('07) and am currently looking for an administrative position as a principal or a district technology director. Never in my wildest dream did I ever imagine becoming a teacher and administrator. It would also have blown my mind back in Mr. Bourland's biology class to think that one day he'd be my step-dad. Yep! My dad died Christmas '97 and about two years later he and my mom married. I was floored but he is really a nice guy, very funny and fun to be around, and most importantly, he's been very good for my mom and all she's had to go through. I'd love to keep in contact with anyone who wishes to. Check out dhesse. com for more info.
