Darrell's Story

I left to join the Air Force shortly after graduation in 1957 and served as a crew member on a transport aircraft which gave me an opportunity to see a bit of the world After the Air Force I went to the Dunwoody institute and U of M in Minneapolis and eventually got an associate degree in Electromechanical Engineering. ject which brought me to England 1973. I got laid of from NASA during the Nixon recession in 1974 and ended up stranded in England. I have stayed on in England ever since working as engineer. I retired in 2004 but still work part time for a small company. I am still married to the English Girl and we have 2 children, both married and living close by. I manage to get back to Clearbrook most years. My Mom is still alive living there yet. And I have brothers and sisters still living in MInnesota
