Darrell's Story
Life
I graduated in 1964, and went right into the Navy. Did Sonar and Harbor Defense with one tour in Viet Nam. When I got out in 1968, I went to work for the phone company in Los Angeles and later went to school at Glendale city College. I met my wife in Orange County in 1971 through my brother and his wife. . The C.D.F. left and I stayed with the new Orange County Fire Department as a Captain and training officer in 1980. I was retired on a medical and now only work part time and teach with the Red Cross. I have three grand sons, Two by Kim, and one by Michelle. I have many great memories of Woodland and all my friends (especially M.Y.F.). I hope to say hi to Rynne Hull, and Mary Hoecker. Also Gayle Jones and Jenny Johnson if I can ever find them.
