Darrell's Story
It’s hard to believe that it’s been over 50 years since I left Charlotte HS. Bill Reeves, Mike Keene and I headed to Central College Of Iowa to “show those guys” what great athletes we were!! I lasted 3 weeks on the football team. They were 50 to 100 lbs bigger than I was. I quickly realized it was time for me to head back East before they “killed me”. I ended up going to Oswego State and enrolled in their industrial arts program played varsity baseball (ended up captain in my junior and senior year).
Married Georgeanne (Missy) Davy and we had two children Jesse and Joseph. The boys each have two children (They each have a boy and a girl). We are all living in New Hampshire in the Lakes Region.
I remarried 30 years ago and we are all doing wonderful.

ction field. I worked for a company for ten year and then bought it. At that time Renewable Energy was just being thought of as Commercially Scaleable. I was intrigued and decided to focus on this new market. I have been building Renewable Energy projects for the past 40 years. The company is made up of a wonderful group of great individuals. We have offices in New Hampshire, Newark New Jersey, Calgary Alberta and Houston Texas.
I sold the company in 2015 to a publicly traded company that is listed on the N.Y. stock exchange. I remain the CEO of my company and still am having a great time.
The truth be known, I am confident that Charlotte HS had a huge impact on the trajectory my life took. My teammates, classmates, coaches and teachers influenced me in so many ways. I cannot thank you all enough.
