Darren's Story
After school, I continued to focus on music. Many classmates knew of my dream to become a rap artist. After a while I became more interested in the technical aspects of making music. I put the mic down and got behind the boards becoming a producer and working with DJ Jazzy Jeff at his A Touch of Jazz Studio in Philadelphia. I spent many hours learning and honing my craft. I went on to produce records for Jill Scott, Floetry, Musiq Soulchild, Will Smith, Lil Kim, Earth Wind & Fire, Patti Labelle, & Darius Rucker to name a few. There are lots others too.
