Darrin's Story
Okay, so...
After high school, I spent a number of years meandering about life. Many, many, many, *many* boneheaded decisions later, I find myself with a wonderful wife, fantastic kids and president of my software company.
I spend most of my time running from work to the youth sporting event of the season to church to supper somewhere to... well you get the idea.
I have been all over the US and out of the country a few times. My wife and I love to travel and that is the plan when the last of our kids get pushe...er...leave the nest.
Reality is, I can't take credit for the success and blessings heaped upon my family. For reasons I still don't fully comprehend, God has seen fit to put both my wife and I in the right pla...Expand for more
ce at the right time on may occasions. At the end of the day, the credit go to Him, not me.
Iran is pursing nukes and an alliance with Russia, who just happens to have nukes. How convenient. The US economy seems to be struggling. The US is maxing out it's military capacity. I had the occasion to visit the site of the twin towers recently with my family. As we stood and looked out at the crater that was symbolic of New York it occurred to me that my son, who is starting college in the fall, is starting life in a very different world than we did. I remember worrying about the Cold War, but never about terrorism. Okay, off the soapbox now.
I don't know how all this will turn out, but the ride has been a blast so far!
