Scott's Story
Life
after graduation, went to ball state for one year. i ran out of money after the first year, so i decided to join the navy, get the g.i. bill, and finish school after i was discharged. i had always liked being around water, especially the ocean, so the navy was the logical choice. i was surprised to discover how much i enjoyed the travel, adventure, and the feeling of accomplishment i got from doing something worthwhile,...Expand for more
so i decided to make the navy a career. i retired in 1996 after 22 years, one wife, and two boys. (26 and 17). we moved to florida in 2001. life is good! now, with the birth of our grandson, we will probably be moving back to indy within the year so we can be closer.
