Darryl's Story
Hello,
Welcome to my page and Thank You for being interested enough to check it out.
I met my wife Hazel in late 1984 at my friend Scott's apartment. We were married March 14 1986. In May of '86 I left or basic training...Air Force Style.
Our dog, Tripper is a Golden Retriever we've had him since March of 2003.
My Kids are all three girls. Candace was born July 1985, Brittany in April 1988, and Alicia in March of 1990.
As for my grandkids, they are the light of my life and for a while they were the only thing that could give me a reason to smile. Hazel and I have taken custudy of Brittany's kids Brooklyn and Brendon, they are 4 and 3. Alicia's son Dominic is 2 years old and lives with his mother at his other grandparents house.
After working at Chandler Building Materials for 4 years, '81 to '85. I joined the Air Force for the next 9 Years, '86 to '95. After separating from the Air Force I worked for the Post Office for a year.
I am currently working as an Aircraft Electrician at Vance AFB in Enid. Coming up on 12 years this May (2009). Depending on the day, It can be educational, frustrating, overwhelming, or boring.
Occasionally I get to travel to other bases and airports to work on the aircraft when they break and are unflyable. Some of the places I've been:

In January of 2009 we traveled back to Northern Kansas to get Jakson. Our second Golden Retreiver and Trippers nephew. So far, he's a pain.
We are currently working on finishing up the adoption of Brooklyn and Brendon. and on September 4th, our 4th grandchild, 3rd grandson, Ayden Matthew Jones arrived at 8:12 am. On November 5th, Hazel and I became his Foster parents. Once again, I can't seem to quit when I1m behind.
On February 3rd, 2010. Alec Joseph Otero. Our 5th grandchild and 4th grandson arrived. We would not be allowed to see him for the first 2 months of his life. His dad is an a**.

I registered at Ponca City High School in 2008, and found that I and 1 other person. A female that refused to log her name, and is currently living in Germany, are the only 2 from the Class of '80 that has.
