Life Well, there's no better place to start than the beginning so here goes. After Erindale, I went to study Engineering at Western. After a wasted two years, I met up with Russell Cruickshank and we both got hired by Walt Disney World to work at the opening of EPCOT Centre. While we were there, I met another Canadian, Linda, and we became a couple. On return to Canada, I went back to Western: this time studying English Lit with the ambition of eventually getting into Law School. Linda and I got married and before I graduated, we had our first daughter. After graduation, I didn't go on to Law School but in one of those crazy turns of life wound up an Air Navigator in the Air Force! I spent twelve years flying in the military, Linda and I had two more daughters, and in 1999, I took my release from the military so Linda could pursue her ambition of practicing midwifery. We decided to move to Scotland. In 2002, things weren't going too well between Linda and I and we separated. Linda and Rosy, our youngest, have moved to California and we are now divorced. In 2003 I returned to life as a student working towards my master of social work degree at the University of Edinburgh. Ariel, our eldest, also studied in Edinburgh, graduating with her degree in music, and is living in Halifax.
