Daryl's Story
I have lived in Las Vegas since I was 4 years old. Have attended 5th Street Elementary School, J.D. Smith Junior High School, and Rancho High School. I attended one year of college in Fairbanks, Alaska, which I loved - even though such extreme cold was a shock to the system of this desert rat. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration at UNLV. I am also a long time member of the International MENSA Society.
I worked for Clark County Government for 28 years and retired early at 51 years of age from being a Business Manager at Clark County Social Service. Then I trained as a Death Investigator and worked for the Clark County Coroner's Office for 8 years, and then retired again.

er 2 days a week at both Metro Police Department and Selma Bartlett Elementary School with a Reading Specialist. I have worked with the little kids for 15 years now, and really enjoy helping them learn to read.
I love all kinds of animals, and still have a big, gorgeous horse named Prince, who is a 5 gaited American Saddlebred - 16 hands high, 2 big Standard Poodles, and a toy poodle, who is the Alpha of the group. She is 7 lbs. of trouble to the bigger girls! I read about 2 books per week, and particularly enjoy mysteries and fictional stories about serial killers.
I treasure my friends, and have kept a few that I have known ever since childhood. I love Las Vegas, and cannot believe I would like living anywhere else in the world. I have visited every continent in the world except Antarctica, but Vegas is still my home!
