Dasha's Story
Life
My husband and I currently live in Jesup Georgia, my hometown. We have two children ages 6 and 2. I work at home and home school our children. I am very interested in politics and anything that promotes a biblical world view and family values. We are very active in our local church and enjoy spending family time outdoors as much as possible.
College
College was such an experience. I remember many fun times at Middle Georgia, University of Georgia and the University of Tennessee. My favorite professors at MGC were Dr. Phil Gibbs and Mrs. Judy (Now Dr. Judy) Lucas. I got to see both of them recently at my nephew's graduation. They had not change very much! There are many friends that I would love to know about. Especially Jenice Schell. We had a lot of laughs.
My favorite professor from Georgia was Dr. Dichiccas (I know I did not spell that correclty). I still remember the words to "my old man's an audiologist". I e...Expand for more
specially remember him giving us a ride downtown one night and listening to Pavorotti in his car. My roomate Tonia will always be special to me!
Then we moved on to University of Tennessee. Tonia and I and we added Mary. We had a lot of laughs there. I will never forget the first football game we went to. We dressed to the nines (as we were used to doing at Geogia) and when we got there everyone was in t'shirts and jeans. You just don't know how hard it is to find "dressy orange"!! That was a hoot.
I won't forget Dr. Carney, Dr. Gordon, Mrs. Betty Coleman or Mrs. Carole Sheridan. And no'one can leave out Mrs. Kaye. She was like our mother away from home. She really took care of all of us.
Oh the good old days. Old City, tubing in the frigid river, falling out of the port 0 potty at boomsday!
I got to visit UT recently and faces have changed but the scenery is still pretty much the same.
Lovely times, cherished friendships.
