Dave Aabye:

CLASS OF 1959

Dave's Story

nd now regard East Tennessee as home. While at Annapolis I met my first wife, Carolyn. During our 23 years together we raised a daughter (Christine) and a son (Kent). I remarried in 1989; my wife (Carol) and I have a daughter (Mary Ann) who will enter American University just a few weeks prior to the class reunion. I am now semi-retired and enjoy spending as much time as possible at our condominium in Sarasota, FL. I¿ve returned to Chicago only a few times over the years, partly because my folks moved to Memphis, TN in 1964. The most recent visit was in 2006, at which time I re-explored Roseland and West Pullman including of course Fenger High. Over the years I¿ve found that these words ring true, ¿My heart is in Chicago wherever I may roam¿. w4qcu at prodigy dot net.
