Workplace
I left school and through time and hard work received my degree in the Administration of Justice. I've been with the Sheriff's Office for 8 years now. My first assignment was at the Fauquier County Adult Detention Center for the first two and a half years. I graduated top of the class at the Criminal Justice Academy and have been assigned to work on the street ever since. sts in 2004, 2005, and 2007. I just recently received the "Officer Of The Year" award from the County Of Fauquier. As you can see, I love my job and couldn't imagine doing anything else.
I was married at 17 and divorced at 21. I raised two children on my own ever since. A son and a daughter. My son works for the Sheriff's Office as well. He is married and has a newborn son. My daughter just graduated high school(Class of 2007) and is thinking of pursuing something in criminal justice.
