Dave's Story

Dear Diary, Well, a lot has happened in the short 38 years since we all graduated on my birthday in 1970. I went on active duty in Uncle Sam's canoe club a couple of weeks after graduation. Spent 3.5 of my 5 years in S.E. Asia. Met my wife in Southern Calif. (she's from Kansas City). We got married just before I got out of the service. We raised two really great kids. nd I'm still there today. Last year I relocated the office to the St. Johns area of Portland. So now, for the first time in my life, I live in Scappoose instead of Troutdale. Sure missed the East Winds this last winter! I've been a commercial pilot since 1980. In 2005, I thought I had retired from the electrical engineering career. Just for giggles & grins, I took a pilot job with United. After all, I'm single, nothing really tieing me down and that should be good beer money and health insurance.
