Dave's Story
Life
After college, some graduate school, military service and a divorce, I met my wife, Jeanne. We were married in 1975 and have three grown children who all live in Atlanta, GA. In February,2003, we welcomed our first grandchild, Jacob. In March of 2006, our second grandson, Will, was born. We are currently awaiting the birth next spring of our 3rd grandchild, this time from our youngest daughter.
During the course of our marriage, we have lived in the Washington, DC area, Harper's Ferry, WV, Columbia, SC, Spartanburg, SC, and now reside in North Myrtle Beach, SC where we intend to retire.
College
Received a BA in Theater Arts in June 1969. Acted in over 30 college productions as well as doing technical work and stage managing. Spent 2 summers acting and stage managing in outdoor dramas in NC and OK.

Workplace
After graduation from college and my return from Vietnam, I worked in men's fashion, insurance, and worked for two professional theaters in Chicago, IL and Louisville, KY as technical director and stage manager respectively.
In 1977 I went to work for Block Drug Co. out of Jersey City. Worked for this company for 24 years until it was purchased by GlaxoSmithKline in 2001. Since my separation from Glaxo, I'm working full time and hoping to retire in 2009.
Military
After being drafted in 1970, I took my basic training at Ft. Dix, NJ and AIT training at Ft. Polk, LA. From there I was sent to Vietnam with the 25th Infantry Division. Two months into my tour I was wounded during a mortar attack. After a year of recovery, which included several surgeries and physical therapy, I was medically retired from the Army with rank of Sergeant.
