Life
Greetings:
Well, for those of you from Arapahoe's class of 1970, rest assured I'm still here in the Denver area and still having fun. My store, Tewksbury & Company, is located in Writer Square at the 16th Street Mall and Larimer Street where we have been since 1996. I have 4 grown daughters and will soon have 7 grandchildren. My wife, Holly, was in the beer industry for many years and is now a Real Estate professional with Re-Max Alliance in Wheatridge.
From 1978-1996 my focus was the wine industry where I was a salesman, broker, retailer, teacher and Sales Trainer. I traveled extensively around the wine world. I served 6 years on the Colorado Department of Agriculture's Wine Industry Development Board. Today, my store still sells Colorado wines in addition to our large inventory of tobacco products focusing on premium cigars.
My music carreer ...Expand for more
spaned more than 30 years with traveling bands, studio work and local work. Many of my classmates will remember my music groups that played for many of our High School dances back in the late 60's. In the 70's I was away from Denver most of the time traveling with musical groups. In the 80's and early 90's I worked with progressive Christian bands including work with the Promise Keepers organization. From 1999 - 2003 I played drums and percussions with the 103.5 the Fox's, Lewis and Floorwax band, the GrooveHawgs. Since then I have retired from performing to follow my dream of guiding Fly Fishermen in the Colorado mountains.
