I quit school in 1961 to join the Army at the age of 17.I quit because I didn't have many friends. nd repair business. I also meet my current roommate of 18 years. In the spring of 2005 I felt that because of the increase in the equity of my house it was time to retire. I took the plunge and retired to Nacogdoches "The Piney Woods of East Texas" and never looked back. Now my days include yard work, my garden and playing with my camera and also my current roommate.

The site Flickr.com has help me a lot. Just reading the exif data from the images can really help. You can find my photos on Flickr. Search for texas_goldpanner. Growing old can be so much fun. I think the trick is to keep busy. Have a great retirement my old classmates and enjoy it. That even goes to the ones that made me feel so left out.....
