Dave's Story
After graduating from Eastern Michigan University in 1972 and then getting a teacher's certificate in 1973, I left for California in early 1974 because of a failed romance. It was out in Los Angeles, California that my life's direction changed dramatically. I met Jesus Christ & my future wife out there. We got married in July 1976 and moved to Michigan in the summer of 1977, where we have been ever since. It was quite a big move for my wife, who was a California native but she has adjusted quite well. We've been married 40+ years, have 3 sons and 9 grandchidren. We're very blessed as we have 7 grandkids who live within 20 minutes of us. I have worked as a teacher in high school (physics, ch...Expand for more
emistry & math) & community college (astronomy), an auto engineer, an R&D lab manager, a chemist and owned my own small, advanced cutting tool materials company for the last 35 years. I developed throat cancer in 2014 but was healed of it thru radiation and chemo. I'm now retired and we're enjoying life. I teach adult education classes at our church and my wife is a chaplain there. We're doing more traveling and loving it. We have put my teachings (which are all original with pastoral oversight) on the internet. Just google Bible Study Courses for Life.
