David Alderman:  

Life I am David Alderman, husband, father of three wonderful daughters, a new grandfather and a Senior Master Sergeant(E-8) selectee in the United States Air Force. I am originally from Ripley WV (Go Mountaineers) where I graduated high school in 1985, choosing to attend a local community college prior to beginning at Marshall University that fall. This is where I met my wife. We continued our schooling for the following year and a half and married on 11 July 1987. My job paid well, but I quickly realized without health benefits it didn't pay well enough. I then contacted an Air Force recruiter, enlisted, and attended basic training 4 October 1988. I have been stationed at five bases, six contingency locations during the past nearly 19 years. I am currently the Superintendent and First Sergeant for the 15th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Hickam Air Force Base, Honolulu Hawaii, where I manage the effective, efficient operations performed by 65 military and 185 civilian personnel.
