David's Story
My journey after high school actually began in my senior year when I dropped out, joined the military, and got married. My stint in the Army (4 years) lasted longer than my marriage. Despite being a former AC "Trojan" she deserved better than me for a husband.
Discharged and divorced, I ventured out west to the none-too-bright lights (for me, anyway) of Hollywood. My acting career ``highlights``: punching out "Ponch's" lights in a very forgettable episode of ``CHiPs`` (weren't they all?), a kissing scene with Pam Dawber (Mork's Mindy) in a new comedy series that never made it into prime time, and laughing so hard as Sir Lancelot during a local theater production of ``Camelot`` that I literally wet my blood-red colored leotards...on stage!
I eventually accepted that being a bad, penniless actor was no way to go through life , and so I returned to Colorado, and to school.

d then "it" happened (how else can one describe serendipity?): I took a semester off from UCD to travel around Europe when, to my ever-lasting good fortune, I met my future wife! I've been over here ever since.
My wife, Hilde (born to dance), and daughter, Steffi (destined to break many a heart), are the true shining lights of my existence, whereas my work occasionally requires me to travel to some pretty dark places.
Overall my life is richer, more varied than I could have hoped for, and better than I probably deserve.
So to anyone who may remember me from my high school days and STILL wishes to drop me a line, I would be delighted to hear from you. And to those of you whose paths at Hinkley I was fortunate enough to have crossed, here's wishing each of you health and happiness.
Anyway, that's my story: the good, the bad, and the not-so-really ugly (still smiling!).
