David's Story

Life After high school I went to BYU and graduated in English. I then went to Willamette University School of Law in Salem Oregon and obtained my Juris Doctorate. After graduating from law school, I began working at McGavick Graves in Tacoma, WA and worked primarily in litigation. By chance, many of my cases involved real estate and I began to focus on real estate matters. As a result of my real estate focus, I eventually obtained my Real Estate Brokers License and I am now also a real estate broker. Being a broker, I also began to invest in real estate. So, I am also a real estate investor. If ...Expand for more
that were not enough to keep me busy, I have four kids: Amy (as of 2004 she is 20 years old and at BYU, like a good girl) Anthony (17 years old and a senior) Kaitlyn (14 and in middle school) and Devin (also in middle school). I also have three step children: Ben (20 and graduating from UW, has a band and a CD out) Nate (17 and senior) and Tyler (12 and in middle school). My wife’s name is Elizabeth Pauli-Bastian and she is the City Attorney for the City of Tacoma and we have been married for six years. In my spare time I like to mountain climb, rock climb, backpack and bike (mountain and road bike).
