David's Story

davebiesemeyer at hot mail A woman I was chatting with made some odd comment inquiring about my sexuality. I had to admit to her that I was a "RETRO-SEXUAL" Definition: RETRO-SEXUAL: Circa: 2005 transitive verb 1) Someone who used to be sexy. 2) One who used to be sexy, but now isn't I am kidding, I get more sexy every time I look in the mirror. (My sister tells me that eye sight is the first to go) Many of the girls I met in Asia, told me I looked like either Mel Gibson or Bruce Willis. (Of course we all look the same to them) Once I was told that I looked like a greek god........... er um.... was Buddha Greek? Ok, tell me how your life went and I will tell you about mine. I had a good life, learned how to buy and sell houses, didn't get rich, but I did OK. I died in a freak accident on Maui on May 3, 2014. A huge tree fell over at the Taro Festival and I was lucky enough to be right under it. You can googe DAVID TREE MAUI for a news clip. I know nothing about this accident other than what I was told by others. I woke up on a respirator three weeks later. My host found me under the tree and he was pretty sure I was dead, no heartbeat, pulse or breath. He called upon the Lord to bring back my spirit. I don't know why, but for some reason God answered his prayer.. twice. He said after about 45 seconds I started a tortured breathing. This tree was 3 or 4 feet wide and 80 feet tall. Iron wood, very heavy, dulls chain saws and does not float. My friend said that when I resuscitated I told him I was OK, and tried to get up. He knew better. I found a photo on the internet where he sitting on top of me keeping me from getting up and holding my head together. I was told I was airlifted to Maui Memorial Hospital and the Doctor that pinned my right foot back on.and pinned my pelvis together, Closed the door as he was examining me. He asked me if I had seen the scene from outside my body. He said that they sewed my head together and put me in the MRI machine to survey damage. He said that I went code blue on them (Cardiac Arrest). He said that 18 doctors and EMT's responded to the alarm and "by the time we got there you were dead". Interesting diagnostic to get from your doctor. He said the body was taken out of the MRI machine and placed on a table. Another Dr Chasen said that he was able to massage the heart, he said there were so many broken bones, it was "like massaging a bag of potato chips". I talked to the cleaning lady and told her that I had been in th...Expand for more
e hospital 2 months. She said, Oh, I was there when they brought you into ICU. She said she remembered the great commotion with the Doctors all clapping and cheering when the heart Moniter came back on. So, you never know the day you will die, I certainly did not see that coming. Apparently they started to lose me again and I was put on life support. Nobody expected me to live. One of my sisters was kind enough to fly over and camp in the hospital room, so I would not have to die alone. I heard later that there was some 30,000 people that had prayed for me. For some reason, when a lot of people pray the same thing, the heavens move. Don't fully understand that, but the fact I am here to tell you about this should tell you something.. I would be in a wheelchair at a restaurant after I got out of the hospital and I would tell someone that a tree had fallen on me and they would tell me" we have been praying for you".... This was not a single occasion. Regarding my healing, Dr Chasen said "you are jumping over tall buildings" I was weaned off life support about 3 weeks later and here I am. I am told my friend that saved my life... even if you discount the miracle that a corpse resuscitated., He held my head together and every drop of blood he saved was useful. I had a page of broken bones. Bones I didn't even know I had. One Doctor said that my second death in the MRI machine probably was not from trauma, but from from loss of blood. Lost over half my blood supply on the way to hospital. So, my friend saved my life. I have told him, I am a little bit mad at him, now I have to deal will all of "you people". So here I am, going to try to figure out why I was brought back. One EMT said that he had never seen anyone come back after they died from blood loss, as when you are out of blood, you are out of blood. Prayer usually just changes your attitude toward the ordeal you are going through, this time it changed the ordeal Either way, a day goes better after you pray. I have traveled quite extensively. I started a small retail/repair glass business when I was 21 years old. I have done some real estate management and development over the past 25 years. Most of my family has died, moved away or is estranged... Drop me an email if you feel so inclined. I would like to hear how your lfe is doing. How come nobody else filled out thier "personal factoids"? At our advanced age, am I the only one that has factoids? Can any of you recommend a good Doctor for that? daveb
