David's Story
After graduation I spent a year working at various places in Tampa, Landcare, Sheppard Electric, and more. I went to Daytona Beach for a while and eventually ended up joining the Air Force in 1981. I spent 11 years of active duty in the Air Force and then ended up in Warner Robins Georgia working for the Air Force full time as a civilian and as an Air Force Reservist. 23 years in the Air Force in various assignments as an aircraft mechanic. During this time I was in Desert Shield / Storm, as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan and travelled to all seven continents. I have been working for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as an Aviation Safety Inspector since 2001. Currently my office is at O'Hare in Chicago. I travel to Florida frequently to visit family.
