David's Story
Life
I have spent most of my adult life with Judy raising two wonderful children. Tommy is the Associate Pastor of Music and Worship at Richmond Hill Baptist Church just outside Savannah. Yes he is a trumpet player and a really good one! He is married to Lara. They have been blessed with a wonderful son named Stiles born in Oct 2008. Jennifer is band director in Fayette County and loves her job of starting 5th grade band students and assiting at Fayette Middle School. Since returning to Atlanta in 1985 I have had the pleasure of helping change the skyline of Atlanta by being responsible for the plumbing and air conditioning in several signature buildings such as 191 Peachtree, The IBM Tower, The Bank of America Tower, the "Queen Building" on 285 at Ga 400 and International Concourse E at Hartsfield along with numerous other buildings. My most visable project and one for which I am most proud was the construction of the HVAC, Plumbing and Life Support Systems for the Georgia Aquarium.

f my life whether it was church work, "The Flowers of the Field", the Georgia Tech Band or working with the Fayette County schools band program, Judy and I have always remmembered our days in the George High Band and the Georgettes. We both are involved in the music ministry at New Hope Church in Fayetteville.
College
The years at Georgia Tech where very rewarding. I had to live at home to make ends meet. I received a scholarship from the Mechanical Contractors Association of Atlanta that pretty much made it possible when I added in working odd jobs and at the Georgia Tech Post Office. I made it in four years, but went 16 straight quarters. (light loads in the summer) I was a member of the band faternity KKPsi. We had an awesome faternity football team! The Tech teams where ok! We went to three bowl games won two and beat Georgia two out the four times. My favorite memory was going to Charlotte NC with the pep band and the basketball team beating UNC and NC State on consecutive nights. We all had dinner with Al Ceraldo. Graduation day was probably the proudest my Dad has ever been.
