David's Story
Owned and operated 2 print shops (Del Rio and Lake Jackson). Collaborated on Buc-ee's logo design (realize now I didn't charge them enough money.) In 1990, wife and I sold everything and bought a 34'sailboat and moved aboard went to Florida and the Keys. Wound up managing a Marina in South Pasadena, FL (suburb of St. Petersburg. I were on our way back from Montreal when Hurricane Katrina struck. It was in a Marina outside Mobile, AL. Was extensively damaged, but was the only boat still afloat in the marina.
I retired in 2009 at the time I was a Driver-Driver Trainer. Currently live on 4 acres about 9 miles East of Livingston, TX with my wife of 34+ years, Linda. She enjoys gardening and no close neighbors. Me, my thre favorite forms of ground cover ar concrete, asphalt or astroturff. Spend far too much time on or behind a lawn mower.
