David's Story
Life
Hey...I graduated in 1974. Went to John Wesley College for one year and then for four years to Michigan Tech up in the U.P. While there, encountered record low temps and record high snowfall (365 inches in 1979 is still a record)!!!
Graduated in chemical engineering from MTU in 1979, and went to work for Anchor Hocking Corp. in Lancaster, Ohio. Married shortly afterward...
Worked for Anchor Hocking until 1987. Then worked for RCA and Union Carbide, switched from engineering to environmental. Started with GE Superabrasives in 1993 and worked there until 2001. Went into environmental consulting and now working as an enviornmetal mgr.
I enjoy bicycling, motorcycling (still), baseball/softball (still), music (still), fishing on lake erie, and keeping my two teenagers out of jail and occasionally doing what they are supposed to do. But only occasionally...
Will fill in the gaps later...later all...

ichigan Tech. for four years and received my degree in Chemical Engineering. First job was R&D for Anchor Hocking Glass in Lancaster, Ohio. Then went to RCA in Circleville, Ohio for three years. Then to Union Carbide in Clarksburg, WV for 3 years. Went back to the Columbus area with GE Superabrasives in 1993 and worked there as a plant environmental enginner for eight years. Worked for nearly 6 years as an environmental consultant in Westerville and now am working as an environmental manager at a steel foundry.
Switch gears to consulting in 2001 and like it quite a bit. Have been married 24.5 years and have two boys who are 18 and 15. I am, as anyone who has two teenagers, going crazy just trying to keep them from killing themselves or turning into homeless people.. As an update my oldest son is now married and I am a GRANDFATHER!!!!
I enjoy motorcycles, bicycling, baseball/softball (of course), all kinds of music, traveling, hockey, trying to keep fit, and most of all...summer. Will fill in the blanks later..
