David's Story
Life
I just live it day by day and love God, and thank him for his love.
School
I didn't like school, and dropped out to join the Navy.(In the Navy I found out how important an education is).
I went to technical collage after the Navy and have an AA in Air Conditioning Technology.
College
I went to a tech collage, and got an AA in Air Conditioning.
I now work as a stationary Engineer(I take care of boilers and chillers). I'm now retired and live in Villisca Iowa
Workplace
I've worked at a lot of jobs (about 11), doing a lot of things. (mostly as a maintenance mechanic and Stationary Engineer).
I took early retirement from 3M
and now work on my home doing remodeling

S Edwards DD950 with my brother John. I worked as an Engineman (diesel mechanic).
John and I took a Westpac cruise together, also went to Australia New Zealand and; Samoa on the way home.
After the Navy I married a wonderful lady Carol who is still wonderful and still my wife.
In 1974 I had a dumb idea and joined the Coast Guard.
I was stationed in Gulfport Mississippi for 2 1/2 years and Niagara Falls New York for 1 1/2 years. The Coast Guard was like a small Navy With no money.
Because of the Navy
I'm in the Order of Megelian, (Sailed around the world), joined The Domain of Neptunus Rex (became a Shellback,, sailed below the equator) and entered The Domain of the Golden Dragon (by crossing the international date line 3 times). I would not have seen these interesting places and things if I hadn't joined.the Navy.
I did my time, for all of us, and I'm glad to be a civilian.
