David's Story

Hello everyone -- I am doing well living in Oakland, California with my wife Dana and our two children Woodrow and Grace. We've been in the Bay Area since 1985 when Dana and I moved down from Oregon following my graduation from Grad School at the University of Oregon.
I work as a District Manager for VALIC, a large investment and retirement company. I employ about 30 Financial Advisors who work with our clients from San Francisco down the coast to Monterey and all the way to Nevada.

We like to travel and get away as often as we can to our vacation home in SunRiver, Oregon.
My Mom and Dad who both were both teachers/counselor at Hillsboro have retired to Las Vegas and are happy and healthy and enjoying the desert sunshine.
My sister Karen married Don Huskey, Class of 1977. They live in Hillsboro where Karen is the High School Librarian and Don works for Union Electric. Their son Jarrod plays basketball for the Webster Univerisity Gorlocks.
