David's Story
Life
I went to Victoria College, U of Toronto, for general arts after MDHS, then Emmanuel for Theology. I came out to Milk River, Alberta (near the Montana border)in 1979. In 1984 I moved up to Edmonton, and in 1995 to Spruce Grove. In 1998 I graduated from the Doctor of Ministry program at St. Stephen's College, University of Alberta, my project being a collection of short stories with Jungian/Tillichian interpretation. Currently I am the minister at United Churches in Cold Lake, Alberta and Pierceland, saskatchewan. I golf in the...Expand for more
summer and play squash in the winter. From Briarwood and Beaconsfield days I remember playing British bulldog on the local rink and Ian Victor at the Beaconsfield United Church coffeehouse playing "Season of the Witch". From Markham, I remember Robbie Mcpherson playing Elton John on the piano, Morris Dalla Costa smiling before blocking someone on the football field and tobagganing with Julie Robinson. Teachers I remember are Mr. Neiss from Beaconsfield and Mr. Maybe from Markham, well and of course Mr. Houston. Best wishes to all!
