David's Story
I went back east to go to college at Swarthmore. After graduation I spent a summer in Washington, DC, interning for Mo Udall. 1981-1984 were the law school years. I spent a summer at a big commercial law firm in New York but didn't like it so in third year I interviewed with prosecutors' and public defenders' offices, and wound up at the Legal Aid Society Criminal Appeals Bureau, and have been there ever since. I do a lot of brief-writing and oral arguments.
Lived in Brooklyn for 9 years, then moved to New Jersey suburbs as second child loomed.
Married 1990 to Michelle Fox, also a lawyer, also in the PD's office. Children now 26 and 22.

al wrongful conviction/exoneration cases, very satisfying, as well as drug sentence commutations.
In high school I spent a lot of time going to bookstores, watching movies at the New Loft, and watching UA sports. I'm glad to see the Loft is bigger than ever, and of course UA sports can now be followed worldwide, even in New Jersey.
I get back to Tucson often to visit family. I haven't given up on the idea of living part-time in the Old Pueblo after retirement - but I married a Massachusetts gal who loves her trees and bodies of water, so it's a hard sell.
As a three-year grad my real reunion class is 1977, but I see a few familiar names in the '76 roster. Enjoy the reunion.
