David's Story
Life
Ok so those at MHS might have wondered "what happend to David?" While those at EHS are like "I don't remember this guy." Well the answer/reason...I transferred my Senior year to Eldorado!!
The people I met my Senior year made me feel as if I'd been there all 4 years. It was by far the best and most memorable year of high school!
After high school, I attended UNM briefly, then transferred in the spring of 1995 to UT AUSTIN (HOOK 'EM HORNS!)and graduated with a BS in Advertising in 1998.
After college I moved to Washington, DC to be with my partner and begin my career in the advertising world. The ad agencies I worked for were thankfully nothing like Amanda Woodward Advertising (think Melrose Pla...Expand for more
ce! LOL). That aside, living in DC was interesting. You got to see all the historical monuments and White House everyday, unlike just on the nightly news like the rest of the world...You also got to meet very interesting people. You'd never know that two tables over from you in a restaurant was a world leader or politician.
In 2001 we sold our houses in DC and Rehoboth Beach, DE (the summer beach home scene for DC and Philly) and bought a home in Ft. Lauderdale (Wilton Manors, FL). We got tired of the cold winters and muggy humid summers in the mid-Atlantic. I very much enjoy South Florida, hurricanes not withstanding. It's a good and easy place to live.
Would love to hear from my friends at EHS and MHS!
