David's Story

WoW!!! It's been more than 30 years since High School. Lot's of things have happened since. I was in the Army from 1988 - 1991 as a radar operator / driver, and served in the Desert Shield / Storm with the 1st Cavalry Division. I did a little bit of college, and lived in Texas for a spell. I've had many different types of jobs from being a file clerk to a logistics supervisor for a medical equipment company. I really don't want to bore you with my work experience resume'. I currently work for an Assisted Living Community as a Community Relations Director, and help those who suffer from Memory issues along with their families. I've been married to the same person sin...Expand for more
ce 1996 and have a Daughter. While she is off experiencing life on her own, My Wife and I are at home taking care of a few small dogs. For fun I still play the drums on nights and weekends. I occasionally go by the name Dave DeMeat simply because my last name is way too long to fit on a bass drum. I've played in many different types of bands with a wide range of musical styles (Rock, Oldies, Surf, Rockabilly, Old & Modern Country, and Punk). I once appeared in a movie called "Bird Dog" where I play a conspiracy theorist that tries to destroy the bad guys. Basically in short -- If someone asks me how things are, I respond that I'm just a cork floating on the Ocean.
