David's Story
Life
Cara and I are expecting our first baby, a little girl on July 4th, 2007. We are both so excited!!!
I currently work on Army Blackhawk Helicopters in North Carolina. I go out of the Navy in 2000 because we (Cara and I) were headed for Cuba as my next duty station and at that point in my life I didn't feel it was fair for her (having just received her Master's degree in Business) to have to get a job on base when she could do much better back here in the states. 10 years and I worked for an internet company for a year or so as a Network Engineer. I guess office life just is not for me because I left that to join the Army National Guard and work on Blackhawk helicopters. And that is what I do now for five days a week and one weekend a month and two weeks a year. I sound like a recruiting ad......
