David's Story
Life
Dear Classmates,
I graduated in '75 and went to Cal State Fullerton, in undistingusihed style, and stopped out after two years. I went about finding myself by lossing myself traveling around: Mendocino, Ca then Santa Fe (many restraunt/cooking jobs). Finally I figured out that I wanted to go back to school, and did so in '80. I got my bachelor's at UCSB (in experimental psychology) in '83 and went on for my master's at the University of Wis...Expand for more
consin, Oshkosh (AKA UW-Zero). With my clinical psychology degree in hand, I went looking for a job and got one in the thriving metropolis of Mexico, Missouri, at a community mental health center. I also began working on my PhD at the University of Missouri, Columbia, which I finally completed in '96. I married my wife Nancy in '87 and we have two boys; Nathan born in '90 and Conner born in '96. I work as a psychologist, seeing people in their homes.
