David's Story
Life
After I moved from Mexicali, Mexico to San Jose, CA. in 1972, I attended Terrell Elementary School (Go Tigers!). I had a great time at that school...good kids and good teachers. I ended up skipping sixth grade and went into John Muir Jr High in the Fall of 1975 (Allright Falcons!). I met many great kids there and I was heartbroken when my father announced we had to move back to Imperial Valley in Southern CA. in December 1977. I then went to Brawley High School for one semester until we made our final move to Calexico, CA where I finished my last three years of HS, graduating in 1981.
After HS, I worked for two Police Depts., where I found that Law Enforcement wasn't my "bag". I continued working S L O W L Y on my Social Science degree at San Diego State University, and finally graduated in December 2001.
Currently, I run my own business selling and installing window blinds where I live in El Centro, CA.

r 20 years and we have two great children, a boy (17) and a girl (13).
I like to restore old Schwinn Stingray Krates (remember those?) and ride them around town with my wife and kids.
I really "miss" my days as a student in San Jose--those were indeed the best of times. I hope whoever reads this bio has a smile on their face and recalls the past with a fond nostalgia. Keep in touch with each other, remember our old Muir Motto: "Accentuate the Positive"--I find that to be very uplifting indeed!
School
After moving to California from Mexicali, BC Mexico in 1972, I attended Terrell Elementary School in San Jose, CA. from 1972 to 1975 (2nd grade thru 5th--I skipped sixth grade). I then went to John Muir Jr. High until 9th grade. Lo and behold my heart was broken when my father announced we had to move back to Imperial Valley. I attended Brawley High School one semester in the Spring of 1978 and then moved to Calexico, CA. where I finished High school in 1981.
