David's Story

left Morton & moved 2 Mackinaw at 16. What a joke! Moved 2 Fl.at 17 and havent left.Absolutly love it here! Self employed in construction. Married for 16 years- now seperated. two kids Christie 18 and anthony 16. Loving the single life again. Take most of my vacations in Bahamas or Mexico, love to dive and fish- not much of that in Il. My interests are Harleys, diving(sky and sea), fishing, boating, weapons, paint ball and drinking. Most of the time with my kids, not the drinking. Maintained a great sense of humor that some times gets me in trouble. I love to dance and have performed with my daughter at all of her recitals for the last 12 years. she is now a dance instructor and going to collage next year to be a teacher. My son plays guitar and is writing his own songs and starting a band. He also loves playing baseball and going to games. GO RAYS!! I sometimes miss the old days and my old friends. Kinda wonder what happened to every one. Im in the best shape of my life and dont feel like Im this old. Been s long time since high school. I didnt do to well with girlfriends in school as im sure you all know, guess I was a late bloomer. Didnt seem to have that problem in Fl. guess theres not as many good lookin guys here. Cant say I dont have any regrets, but am very happy with where my life is today. still have a full head of black hair, no more glasses-lazer. need to check the story wiz.- out of things to say favorite way to relax is 100-150 feet down with the fish looking at the wrecks My hero is Capt. Ron The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Carla Sickles, because she was my 1st crush, kinda like to see how she turned out. My biggest suprise in life was turning out to be a leader, not a follower. People are always turning to me for leadership and direction. When I was in school it was the other way around. If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my kids, then spend the rest on toys, houses all over the world and my girl friend. To be truly happy Id be in South Bimini fishing, diving, catching lobster and lazing on the beach with a hot woman that loves me. My current age is 43. ...Expand for more
When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be lame. I was so completely wrong. you just need to find the right croud. I busted my ass to get every thing I had. Then my ex took it all.Ive got a good jump on rebuilding, but I think Im not going to work as hard as I did. I want to spend more time enjoying life and let other people do most of my work for me. I always felt like things would fall apart if i wasnt on the job all the time. And sometimes it did. Im not worried about that now, nothing will happen that cant be fixed. My best friend would tell you I'm off the chain, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as upstanding. Im bi-polar with my fashon. Its Harley garb one day and designer the next-with a little tropical thrown in the middle The wierdest job I ever had is clam farming(little neck or steamers). I actually still do it. I own 3 acres under 8 feet of water in Charlotte Harbor. The clams are staked to the bottom in 3X3 grow out bags. they take about a year to grow. You have to dive down once a week and clean the bags. Visibility is low and there are a lot of sharks and sting rays, but I love to dive. Ive had a few close calls with the sharks, but never been hurt bad. I did have a bull shark grab me once and drag me about 75 yards before he let me go. That was a bigger fricken rush than jumping ouy of a plane! I share my home with a friend, which I find convienent. The only trophies I have are for paintball, trap shooting and baseball(I was the coach-little league) my one do over would be not to have brout my ex-wife to the Bahamas. After that she wouldnt let me go with out her, and she couldnt get off work as often as I liked to go. So Id go with out her any way some times-that caused problems. Or possibly getting mouthy with that cop, that caused a lot of problems too. In 10 years, I hope to be living in the Bahamas. I'm going to get there by keeping up the hard work, and staying in touch with my buddy that lives there. I think every thing about me would suprise people at a reunion. I turned out to be veery outgoung, athletic and damn good looking(so Im told).
