I currently exist in Springfield, MO. I hate the cold winters here and can't wait to get back to San Diego! I can't say I have been a rousing success financially but I have mostly enjoyed my life so far. I've been to 49 states and most of the Canadian provinces as a truck driver. I've backpacked the Chilkoot Trail; canoed the Yukon River from Whitehorse to Dawson City, rock climbed in Yosemite and Kings Canyon, a whitewater rafting trip on the Kern River, mountain biked all over San Diego County, kayaked the lakes in SW Missouri, broken both my arms simultaneously when I fell out of a tree, put a '66 Malibu SS in a ditch backwards at 60 mph, broken my foot during a karate lesson, suffered a couple of heartbreaks, loved, laughed, cried & screamed in anger. In short, I have lived an interesting life but not all that unusual. I've worked as a radar technician in the Marines, auto mechanic, electronics quality control inspector and electronics technician on a radio telescope, firefighter /EMT, tree trimmer, backpacking/rock climbing instruc...Expand for more
