Kathy Hoppas's Story
My 11 year marriage to my first husband, Mark Thompson, ended with a quiet bla bla bla.
I really enjoyed being single until my roommate Shelley (a yankee, but I didn't hold it against her), made me go on a blind date with David Gray. I just didn't want to date or be a couple anymore. But she made me go. I made a third party go with us, and they picked me up at 8am to go to the rodeo. I made her sit between David and I in the truck and also at the rodeo.
It wasn't until around 3pm watching the pig races, when we actually started talking and I found out that his mother was my bother's wife's aunt. I had met and had gone to craft shows with her for ...Expand for more
over 10 years!
He was in the Air Force during the time I knew his mom. From that point forward, we have been together.
I worked in the computer banking industy for about 25 years, until my company merged with a company in Boston, MA. and I had to retire that position.
David and I have been married for 12 years (so far) and are currently traveling around the USA driving an 18-wheeler, carrying hazardous materials for the Department of Defense. (yes, I drive too!)
We are only in town for about a week a month, and unfortuantly, we aren't in town for most functions, but we try when we are here.
