David's Story
Attended Kerman many times over the mid fifties and up to my Junior year 63-64. Kudos to those getting the 63 to 64 year book on display. I attended over 25 different schools to my Senior year at Reedley., in 65. I am really happy to see those of you who are survivors. Some of the names I see were people I played games with. I am the worst student ever to graduate on schedule. I did not develop study habits until mid life. The only reason I did graduate on time was a love of participation in sports. It took a C average to do sports. Thanks to the miracle of aritmentic an D could be rounded up to a C allowing me to Wrestle, Swim and do some track and field. study habits in time to graduate a Army repair course in electronics. I started my military career in the Marine Corps and somehow escaped my 6 year commitment as a Sgt. 65 to 71. 69 to 72 I attended a local community college where I snagged credit for 2 years in liberal arts. During that last two years I got 2 years worth of college credit. My time in the Corps and the 2 years college credit propelled me quickly to E6. I retired as an E7 from the Army we had raised our daughter and The wife and I still worked a number of years beound my retirement date, We had the luxury of not having to work. Courtesy of the military I traveled the world seeing many sights and sampling the foods of many countries.
