David's Story
I obtained a GED and joined the United States Air Force after my junior year of High School. I finished a one year technical school in electronics at Keesler AFB, Biloxi, Mississippi in 1974. Then, I was stationed at Fairchild AFB, Spokane, Washington for 4 years. When I was Honorably discharged from the US Air Force, I went to work for Boeing. I worked at Boeing for 25 years, and now I have been working in the security field for 5 years. In January of 1975, I married Teresa Leishman who was a Cascade High School student too. We had 2 children which are grown up now and have children of their own. My son Tony has a 1 year old son who's name is Jeremy, and my daughter Tammie has a 4 year old son who's name is Taylor. My marriage unfortunately did not last till death do us part, and we were divorced after 18 years of marriage. So, I have been single now for about 15 years I guess. Friends that is what is important to me in life. My job or career is important too, but not as important as family. I am lucky that my job doesn't really take away from my family time. My mother passed away 2 years ago, and my father has gotten kind of sick lately with diabetes and a heart surgery as he approaches 75 years old. Therefore, this past year I have moved in with him to help take care of cleaning, cooking, and any health care issues. It's part of life, but I miss all the loved ones who are gone now. Well, maybe I'll write more about my life at a later date. I have never really strayed far from the Everett area for my entire life, and I currently live in Mill Creek. Anyone who wants to contact me, please feel free to drop me a line. I would like to here what everyone else has been doing. One regret I have is that I did not stay connected with some of people I went to high school with. I have often wondered what everyone has done with their lives and how they are doing today. I hope life is good.
