David's Story
Life Married: My wife, Sherrie and I were married Jan 16, 1976. Three children: Jonathan - May 11, 1977, Andrea - Aug 5, 1979, Jason - Jul 29, 1982. Andrea has a son, Tynon - Mar 2, 2001 and a daughter, Tayla - Mar 10, 2005. My youngest son is married and has a son, Ayden - Nov 26, 2009 and a daughter, Leah - Dec 1, 2014.
I write humorous essays, children's stories, and develop and maintain web sites. I am have been state President, 1st VP, Treasurer and Webmaster for the Idaho Writer's League, and Coeur d'Alene Chapter President. I have a juvenile story published in an anthology titled "Kaleidoscope: A Collection of Tantalizing Tales" available through thechildrensvillage.org. Since 2008 I have been a board member for Bitterroot Mountain Publishing LLC. I had my first book, Life's Bumpy Roads, published in December, 2014. It is available from Amazon.com.

kyline High. I was the shy, quiet type that most people don't notice. Listened in all my classes, aced the tests, didn't do homework, and came out with a C average. Spent my freshman year (for all you PC freaks that is what you now call freshperson year, go figure) at the U of U. Left after failing a 5 credit Calculus and a 5 credit Psychology class (guess what, homework counts in college). Studied computers at LDS Business College and after moving to Spokane, Washington, studied microcomputer electronics through National Radio Institute. Most of my education came from the School of Hard Knocks.
Had a variety of jobs, many working with computers. Was a partner in an alarm business with clients in six states. Have had a business developing and maintaining websites. I am now retired along with my wife, Sherrie. I am enjoying reading, writing, family history, gardening (I have a boffo crop of weeds), and doing what I can to annoy my children and grandchildren.
I am the Scout Committee Chairman for our church troop, team, and crew.
