David's Story
Brief Bio: San Jose State grad in 65, 7 months in Europe in 66.. Grad degree from Thunderbird in International Biz 67. Got married 67. 3+ years in Commodities Biz in Chicago. [awful place back then] Back to The City worked in software for 4 years. Started my own software consulting company, after 39 years handed it over to my #2 son in 2009 and Co is still going strong. Biz was 10 yrs in the City rest in Lafayette and Walnut Creek, clients all over US. From 02 to 04 took Enology and Vit extension program at Davis. Now growing grapes and making wine at my place in Lake County where I spend about 6 m...Expand for more
onth a year. Also live[d] in Lafayette since 1978. Two lovely grand daughters, teenagers!?! # 1 son lives in Stockton. Involved in grape growing and winemaking associations in Lamorinda and Lake County. Take one to two travel trips yearly, until Covid. Portugal and Spain with whole family in 23. Never thought about living to over 80 but here I [we] am [are] and it pleases me greatly that there seems to be a lot of the class of 60 who are still with us and signing up to this site.
