David's Story
Life
I am living in Granbury, Texas. We moved here in January of 1987 to work a Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station, CPSES with Stone and Webster. In 1992 I switched to work with the utility, Texas Utilities, TU Electric, now we call ourselves TXU. In May 2006, I turned 50 and TXU outsourced me to Shaw - Stone and Webster. I continued to prepare outage schedules until August 2006 when Shaw laid me off. I enjoyed a 4 week vacation. The Lord provided another job for me at CPSES with Capgemini Energy in the Material Support Group.
College

st Student Union at LSU was my home, away from home, even though I was still living at home. I played lots of ping pong and enjoyed the chapel services and all the great christian friends I met. I also enjoyed being in The Golden Band from Tigerland. Marching in the halftime show for 4 years. Finally in my Junior year Patti Rogers showed up and after almost 4 years of dating we got married in 1980 at First Baptist Church in Baton Rouge after we both had graduated, I got a BS degree in Construction and Patti got a General Business degree, and I had a job.
