David's Story
Life
My wife and I are enjoying life, careers, and especially our granddaughter, Madyson. Our vacation to Florida was eventful because we were able to take our granddaughter to see her great grandmother and great great grandfather.
Of course, we lost our favorite cat gizmo recently which was a very sad event. Gizmo was our nieces favorite cat which I hand picked six years ago. Gizmo was special since her presence always reminded us of our niece who had lived with us for several years until her death in an auto accident November 2003. was tragically taken from us by a drunk driver. Our niece is always with us in our memories and spirit.
College
I remember my roommate Randy Whitaker as a great friend who enjoyed a good party and EKU football games against Western. Randy passed away in 1988 but I will always remember his friendship along with the college downtown life we all enjoyed. Don't tell my parents!
Workplace
I have enjoyed a long and rewarding career in accounting over the period of 25 years culminating in my current position as Vice President for Business Affairs at Alice Lloyd College.
