David is from Dallas, Texas. He is married with five grandchildren and twin great grandchildren. His schools include W.W. Samuell High School then The University of Texas at Austin where he received a BA in Biology with Chemistry and Math minors.

Testing Program for 15 years before going to work at Luminant Power (formerely TXU). David retired from Luminant in 2013 as the Chief Air Scientist Consultant in the Environmental Services Department.
David's interests include church, genealogy, computers, photography, iris gardening, toxicology, electrical generating poiwer plants, and air pollution.
