David's Story
Life
Recent history is probably the most interesting.
As I mentioned before, my wife and I do a lot of ballroom dancing.
Most of it being swing, waltz, rumba, and we are working on our salsa. We enjoy going to the Playa Mazatlan for vacations. They have an open air restaurant and dance floor next to the beach and we enjoy dancing until the wee hours of the morning.
We both take Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. My original goal was to start getting stretched out again, but now really enjoy the classes. We are some of the oldest members in the dojang and really enjoy working with, and around the kids. Yes, they do manage to kick my butt occasionally.
Right out of college I worked as a petroleum geologist mostly in Oklahoma drilling high pressure gas wells , after years of long hours, missed holidays etc I made a career choice to leave the business. We moved to Albuquerque where I now work as a contractor for Sandia National Laboratories. I married a terrific gal from Chicago, who audits computer systems.

o get in to the graduate progam at UNM and am working on my MBA. dlang at unm.edu This is something I had always wanted to do, and decided that this was the time. Do I do anything else, no! Time is a bit scarce with what I do now. We purchased a small house in Albuquerque and began to fix it up. It had hard wood floors under the carpet and after refinishing those along with replacing everything else in the house, it suddenly occurred to me that instead of raising the Titanic would have been cheaper to lower the ocean. But we love the place and even though we talk about getting something bigger, I doubt it will happen.
Well that's about it. I am interested in hearing from anybody about anything.

I received my BS in Geology at NMSU right after high school and I just recently completed my degree in Accounting.
Yes, I really love going to school. We all stop maturing at some stage in our lives, mine was in college.
