Life
After high school I moved t Ft. Hood with my parents and got a job a bar inventory at the NCO club for about 6 mos. before joining the Air Force. I went to Keesler AFB to Tech School for 9 mos. in avionics and got stationed at Homestead AFB for my first assignment. After only being there six weeks I was shipped to Nellis AFB to go to Thialand for a 6 months TDY but that was cut short after we stopped bombing Cambodia. So I went back to Homestead and a year later got orders to Kadena AB for 18 mos. Visited the old high school a few times and some of the old stomping grounds that I use to go. quit after a year and went to college at San Antonio Community College for 2 yrs. I majored in electronic Technology. Where I got a job with Texas Instruments in 1980 for a year before getting layed off. Then I went to work for a company called Singer-Link to work on the computers systems that control the Space shuttle Simulator. But got layed off when the Challenger blow up. Then went into busines with a couple of friends doing computer repair and service and lost everything after three years. So I packed everything and move back to San Antonio, Texas in 89 and have been here ever since. I'm now retired as a 100% disabled veteran as of 2000 and mostly hang out on the computer surfing around and chatting. I also do a bit of fishing with a friend that live down at the coast.
