David's Story

I graduated that May in 1974 with an anticipation of being in the Navy. I went in June 17th with John Borders and Jack Lowry on the buddy system. We went through bootcamp and then I spent the next 4 years in the active Navy in Whidbey Island, WA. I met my beloved soulmate and we got married in college following that tour. the Lord had other plans. I ended up spending the rest of my career in the active Naval Reserve until retirement in June 1997. From there I prepared for ministry at a seminary in Southern California. My wife and I have spent our time since in ministry in prisons and the Appalachian Mountains. My hope is to share with as many people as possible what Jesus has done for us all.
